This effect is enhanced by aromatherapy from a herbal blend developed by a naturopathic physician. 12 herbs were specifically selected for their therapeutic value in the herbal blend and you can read about them at the above link. Lightly misting the wrap with water before using the herbal shoulder wrap will increase both therapeutic effect of the moist heat but with also strengthen the effect of the herbal blend. This is a large wrap with the weight strategically located to relax the trapezoid muscles. The muscle group that most often is dramatically effected by stress and poor posture. To Help Other Visitors Add Details to Your Review: I have had a lengthy relationship with the Ultimate Water Massage and it's various products, having been a faithful customer for years, and I must say, this product is BY FAR one of their BEST. It has a light lavendar smell, and it retains warmth for several hours, which is Greatly needed on my shoulders. It's a little bulky and heavy at first, but the soothing properties of the wrap make it a PHENOMENAL investment. By far my favorite product.
