Plant Description: A cultivated tree over 35 feet high with glossy
leaves and large yellow fruit.
Aromatherapy use:
Grapefruit essential oil refreshes and uplifts the spirit. It has a lovely
fresh aroma which can help with nervousness and fatigue. Grapefruit essential
oil relieves congested and oily skin, having a toning effect on both skin
and tissues. For this reason it is a good oil to use when treating
cellulites. Grapefruit essential oil has a soothing effect on the body and is
valuable for migraines, pre-menstrual tension and the discomforts of pregnancy.
It helps clean the liver and kidneys and may improve their detoxification
efforts when dealing with any problem, but especially drug addictions.
