USE DIRECTIONS:
Maximum heating times for hot n' cold products (do not exceed microwave
times): wraps/neckwraps 3 minutes, Allow to cool before re-heating
(minimum 1 hour). Recommended to keep stored in freezer when not in use to
re-hydrate seeds and add moisture to product. After 3 heatings in one day
alternate with another unit, and store in freezer or cool place. Warning: not
following these directions could lead to a potential fire hazard because with
each use you lose some moisture. You can sprinkle some cold water on the
product before heating to assist in re-hydrating lost moisture.
DISPOSABLE LIFE CYCLE:
The normal life cycle with regular use is six months. To extend life to
one year keep stored in freezer when not in use, this will allow the seeds to
re-hydrate themselves, using the moisture from your ice and frost in the
freezer. When product no longer provides moist heat open the fabric and feed
the birds the seeds, the remains will breakdown naturally in the land fill.
Traveling Hints
When you travel you will want to remember to take your pillow with you too.
Many times we have been called by our pillow users
from some hotel somewhere where they realized they missed their buckwheat hull
pillow and wanted us to ship them one right away by next day air. Also remember
if you do travel with your pillow, don't forget it when you leave. We suggest
you use a bright colored pillow case on it when you travel. Many users of the
Large size pillow use the traditional size Makura
to travel with because it is smaller and lighter.
